Keeping Your Mind On What Matters
This morning on our NPR station, Garrison Keilor read a Mary Oliver poem that sounded like it belongs in her ethical will (and my everyday life!). I especially love the lines:
"Let me keep my mind on what matters, which is my work, which is mostly standing still and learning to be astonished."
